New ROH Women’s Pure title tournament participants revealed

Ring of Honor has revealed three new participants for the tournament to crown the inaugural Women’s Pure Champion.

During Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV episode, Deonna Purrazzo, Taya Valkyrie, and Leila Grey were confirmed as entrants. They join Serena Deeb and Queen Aminata as the first five participants confirmed for the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament.

Aminata will face Deeb in a first round matchup. A total number of entrants for the tournament have not been announced to this point.

The Aminata vs. Deeb matchup was originally slated for Supercard of Honor when that show was set for May, but the date has since been moved to All In weekend with the show now taking place on Friday, July 11.

ROH and AEW owner Tony Khan announced the creation of the Women’s Pure Championship at an ROH taping on April 12.
