Nick Wayne vs. AR Fox official for next AEW Collision

A new match has been added to next week’s Collision.

Nick Wayne will meet AR Fox after the two had a confrontation on this week’s show. Fox was interrupted by Wayne during a promo, asking how long it had been since Fox attacked him at his wrestling school. He said his father, Christian Cage, taught him to hold a grudge and hadn’t forgiven him for the attack last year. Wayne said he had changed and wasn’t the same boy he was last year, pointing out the recent attack on Hook by the Patriarchy. Fox said he didn’t know anything about Hook, but said he’d see Wayne next week on Collision.

In an angle that took place last August, Swerve and the Mogul Embassay (which included AR Fox at the time) attacked Wayne at his home and left him a bloody mess. Fox was removed from the group shortly after, however, and Wayne’s then mentor Darby Allin and Sting defeated Strickland and Christian Cage at All In in a coffin match.

It was announced later in the show that the Full Gear 4-Way Contender’s Series would begin next week on Collision. The Outrunners will face Top Flight, with the winners advancing to a four-way AEW Tag Team title match at Full Gear.

Here is the updated lineup for next week’s Collision:

  • Nick Wayne vs. AR Fox
  • AEW Full Gear 4-Way Contender’s Series: The Outrunners vs. Top Flight
