No holds barred AEW title match announced for April 15th Dynamite

An empty arena match for the AEW World title will take place in two weeks.

Jon Moxley will defend against Jake Hager in a no holds barred empty arena match on the April 15th edition of Dynamite. This follows altercations that have been taking place recently between both Hager and Moxley, including The Inner Circle powerbombing Moxley through a table off the stage.

A video aired tonight highlighting the feud between the two. Hager said he didn’t care that Moxley was AEW Champion as that doesn’t scare him. Moxley says he isn’t scared of Hager, but knows he could separate consciousness from his body. He said that Hager is just another Goliath that David will need to find a way to defeat.

The video also had comments from stablemates Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho, who praised Hager.

Content for the next few weeks of Dynamite have been taped in recent days as a number of states have issued stay-at-home orders due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show will also feature Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana in a TNT Championship quarterfinal match.
