Okada vs. Ishii title match added to AEW Collision Maximum Carnage
Former NJPW stablemates will square off on AEW Collision Maximum Carnage for the Continental Championship.
As announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW Continental Championship against Tomohiro Ishii on Saturday’s Collision.
The Maximum Carnage special episode of Collision airing Saturday will be taped Thursday night.
Both Okada and Ishii were part of the CHAOS stable in NJPW. Ishii still wrestles for NJPW, while Okada departed the company for AEW last year. Ishii is also part of The Conglomeration stable in AEW.
The Continental title bout is one of three matches official for the Saturday, January 18 Collision. The card will also feature Hangman Page vs. Christopher Daniels in a Texas Death match, plus a 12-man tag.
