Penelope Ford cleared to return from injury, AEW return date set
After having to miss the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team title tournament, Penelope Ford is set to return to the ring after a three-month absence.
On Wednesday’s AEW Maximum Carnage Dynamite, Ford was announced to be teaming with Megan Bayne on Collision Maximum Carnage airing Saturday against opponents to be named.
Last October, Ford suffered a UCL tear and was ruled out of action. While previously scheduled to team with Megan Bayne in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament, she was later replaced by Marina Shafir.
Ford’s last match dates back to the October 22 Dynamite when she teamed with Bayne against Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale, and Sisters Of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue).
