Potential spoiler on Adam Copeland’s opponent for MLP Northern Rising

Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland’s opponent for Maple Leaf Pro Northern Rising appears set.

According to a report from PWInsider on Saturday, Copeland is expected to face Steve Maclin at the event.

An angle filmed at MLP’s television tapings in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, this weekend teased a potential rivalry between the two. Maclin wrestled twice at the tapings. He first defeated Psycho Mike Rollins and was later disqualified in his second match against Rhino. He also gave Rhino a con-chair-to.

While full results from the tapings are not yet known, recently released TNA wrestler Jody Threat and the team of Sinner and Saint reportedly debuted as well.

Videos have been appearing on MLP Mayhem in recent weeks featuring Copeland talking about what wrestling at the former Maple Leaf Gardens, now renovated and known as the Mattamy Athletic Centre, means to him. Copeland was officially revealed for Northern Rising during the closing moments of the July 29 episode of MLP Mayhem, and another segment featuring him aired the following week.

MLP Northern Rising takes place on Saturday, October 3, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.
