Powerhouse Hobbs: I’ll deal with Jon Moxley when the time comes

It sounds like Powerhouse Hobbs has vengeance on the mind when it comes to Jon Moxley.

This April, Hobbs suffered a ruptured patellar tendon while facing Moxley on an episode of AEW Dynamite. The injury kept him on the shelf for nearly seven months as he recovered from surgery. Hobbs made his return to AEW programming three weeks ago, fighting against his former faction members in the Don Callis Family.

Hobbs has promised to be an even more intense version of himself in his return from injury. Moxley — the AEW World Champion — is on a warpath in AEW with a storyline where he’s attempting to force the promotion back on the right track. A matchup between the two would make sense down the road, and AEW uploaded an interview today where Hobbs addressed the possibility.

Renee Paquette asked Hobbs if he holds resentment toward Moxley for his injury.

“Respectfully, I’ll deal with that when the time comes,” Hobbs responded.

Moxley retained his AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy in the main event of Full Gear this past weekend. Darby Allin, Christian Cage, Hangman Page, and Jay White are being positioned as potential title challengers at the moment.

Paquette’s full interview with Hobbs can be watched below. It’s centered around his recovery from injury with Hobbs opening up about the depression and anger he dealt with after getting hurt.
