Pro Wrestling Tees says they are still in business with AEW

A rumor surrounding Pro Wrestling Tees severing their ties with AEW has now been shot down.

Recently, a rumor started going viral on Squared Circle Reddit claiming that Pro Wrestling Tees laid off their whole merch design team that worked with AEW. The post was supposedly made by someone claiming to be part of the laid-off team and stated that the layoffs were “a direct consequence of AEW ending their partnership with PWTees.”

However, such is not the case. Shortly after, Pro Wrestling Tees reached out to Fightful Select and denied the rumors.

“The person who made the Reddit post circulating has no knowledge of our business. ‬Nothing on that post is true except that we unfortunately told some of our contracted designers that we would not need them for as many AEW designs anymore. ‬ ‪Some of the AEW designers are still contracted. Nothing has changed otherwise and we are still fulfilling merchandise for AEW,” their statement read.

Pro Wrestling Tees has remained the official merchandise partner of Tony Khan’s AEW since its inception in 2019.
