QT Marshall congratulates AEW star on first title win

QT Marshall was proud to see one of his former QTV pupils win gold on AEW Dynamite last night.

At Winter is Coming 2025, Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale defeated Mina Shirakawa & Toni Storm to become the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions. It’s the first-ever title win for Cameron, who has progressed from her early days in QTV to becoming one of the most improved wrestlers in AEW.

Marshall shared a backstage photo with Cameron from Winter is Coming and expressed how proud he is of her.

“Genuinely proud of this woman! The true definition of when talent plus hard work equals success,” Marshall tweeted. “Anything she’s ever given, she knocks it out of the park! More than that, the best human being! An honor calling you a friend, but now I get to call you a champion!”

Cameron called the title win a dream come true and thanked Marshall for everything he has done for her.

“Thank you QT for everything. I wouldn’t even be here today if it wasn’t for you believing in me and giving me a shot,” she wrote. “Appreciate you more than I can put into words. Just the beginning! Time to work even harder!!”

Marshall is an executive for AEW with an SVP (Senior Vice President) job title. He also occasionally competes in the ring for AEW and ROH.

In the AEW Women’s Tag Team title tournament, Cameron & Nightingale picked up victories over Mercedes Mone & Athena, Julia Hart & Skye Blue, and Shirakawa & Storm on their road to becoming champions.

Cameron spoke with TV Insider last month and named Nigel McGuinness and Orange Cassidy as some of the other people who have contributed to her improvement by helping her train.
