Update on AEW’s Queen Aminata being stuck in the UK
She won’t be back in time for AEW Dynamite, but Queen Aminata is headed back to the United States.
Aminata posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday, revealing that she has been stuck in the United Kingdom after losing her passport and other belongings when her backpack was stolen on Saturday. On Wednesday, she provided an update, sharing a photo of the emergency passport she was issued along with the caption, “I’m going home tomorrow!”
Aminata missing tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite is likely welcome news to Thekla, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart. The Triangle of Madness has been feuding with Aminata and other babyfaces in the division, including Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Harley Cameron. Megan Bayne and The Triangle of Madness defeated Aminata, Statlander, Nightingale, and Cameron on the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pre-show on Sunday. Four days earlier, at the AEW Collision tapings in Glasgow, Scotland, Aminata and Nightingale defeated Blue and Hart in tag team action.
