Report: Adam Copeland cleared for physicality

An update on Adam Copleand.

PWInsider is reporting that Copeland has been cleared for physicality. However, he isn’t expected to return to AEW until he finishes filming the second season of Disney’s Percy Jackson show, which is expected to wrap up in January.

Copeland has been out of action since AEW Double or Nothing after jumping off a barbed wire steel cage, fracturing his tibia in the process that ultimately required surgery the following month. As a resuly, he had to forefit the TNT title which was won by Jack Perry at Forbidden Door.

In September, Copeland said that he didn’t have a timeframe for a return from injury.

“I know that now I can walk, get in the ring, and move around a little bit, but I still feel the deficiency. So, I know I still have some work to do to return to where I need to be,” he told Sports Illustrated at the time.

During the Full Gear press conference, Tony Khan was asked a bout Copeland’s return. Khan said he hoped to have him back soon.
