Report on backstage reaction to MJF vs Kenny Omega from AEW Beach Break

AEW Dynamite Beach Break 2026 MJF vs Kenny Omega

MJF vs Kenny Omega for the AEW Championship took place last week during the Beach Break 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite. Omega would win the match and the title, setting up the main event for AEW’s All In 2026 event from Wembley Stadium in August.

According to new report from Fightful Select, there was a lot of buzz backstage following the match, with the company apparently very happy with the viewership numbers for the show: “AEW sources we spoke to were very happy with the Dynamite viewership and the MJF vs. Kenny Omega match in general.

Fightful also confirmed that the table spot from the match was a tribute to Mick Foley/Mankind following a lot of speculation during the week: “The MJF/Kenny Omega table bump was an homage to the Mankind table bump from when Undertaker hit him with stairs.
