Report: Update on Charli Evans’ AEW status
29-year-old Australian Indie wrestler Charli Evans recently wrestled on ROH, shortly after which a report on her AEW status was out.
Following her recent match against Mina Shirakawa on ROH, rumors emerged about Evans possibly signing a deal with AEW. While rumors emerged about her possibly signing a deal, Fightful Select reported an update on her status. According to Fightful Select’s AEW sources, Evans has not signed to Tony Khan’s promotion, despite her appearance on ROH.
On February 14th, 2026, Evans wrestled Shirakawa in Sydney, Australia, on her ROH debut. Following a defeat, she again wrestled The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter) while teaming up with Kyla Knight at AEW House Rules Australia.
Actively wrestling across the Australian indie circuit, she has been a part of a total of 467 matches, as per Cagematch.
