The end result of Saturday’s mixed tornado tag match saw Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy defeat Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir, with Storm pinning Yuta following the Storm Zero. Per the stipulation, Yuta was the one that had to lose his hair as he took the pinfall.
After the match, Mina Shirakawa came out with a chair as Luther had the shaver ready to go. Yuta attempted to exit the ring and bail through the crowd, but Yuta was met by Jon Moxley, who convinced him to adhere to the stipulation. With nowhere to go, Yuta solemnly re-entered the ring as Mina cut off a piece of Yuta’s hair, gaining a measure of revenge from Dynamite. Storm, Orange, and Luther all took turns shaving Yuta as he was left with very little hair.
The two teams had been feuding in recent weeks, leading to the challenge for the hair vs. hair match in Sydney. On the final Dynamite before Grand Slam Australia, Orange and Storm were cutting a promo hyping the match when Yuta emerged on the stage with Shafir, who had Mina in her mother’s milk submission. He cut a piece of Mina’s hair off as Storm and Orange could only look on, unable to help her in time.
