Samoa Joe return announced for AEW Dynamite
Samoa Joe returns to AEW tonight.
Joe will team with his fellow Opps members Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs against LFI’s Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos on Dynamite.
Tony Khan announced the news just hours before the show on Wednesday, writing, “After LFI attacked @K_Shibata2022 on Saturday for the second time, Joe will team with @TrueWillieHobbs + Shibata vs @RUSHToroBlanco @Dralistico_LFI + @BeastMortos TONIGHT!”
It will be Joe’s first match since an injury angle at AEW All In wrote him off television. He’s been doing promotional work for season 2 of Twisted Metal, where he plays the character of Sweet Tooth. Earlier this week, he told PWInsider that his return would be coming “definitely sooner than later.”
