Scorpio Sky not medically cleared to compete on AEW Collision

Scorpio Sky AEW

Scorpio Sky was not medically cleared to compete ahead of his scheduled match against Shelton Benjamin on Saturday’s AEW Collision.

Just a few minutes before the show began, AEW president Tony Khan shared the announcement on social media and proceeded to name Sky’s replacement for the show in SkyFlight teammate Dante Martin who later went on to have an impressive bout with the former WWE star, albeit in defeat.

Scorpio last wrestled on the December 6 edition of ROH on HonorClub as part of an eight-man tag team match. It’s unknown if Sky has an injury or was pulled for another reason.

MVP and Shelton Benjamin send a warning to Jon Moxley

Just moments after defeating Dante Martin on Collision, MVP and Benjamin shared a warning for Jon Moxley ahead of their match.

“I want you to know, I know that you like pain. You like to bleed all over the place like a wild animal, like a rabid dog. But you are not the apex predator. Shelton Benjamin is. Wednesday night on Dynamite, you will get punched, you will get kicked, you will get kneed in your jaw, you will get tossed around like a sack of dirty laundry. And there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. You are a dangerous man, I give you credit. But this man [points to Shelton Benjamin] is way more dangerous than you, Jon Moxley.”
