Swerve Strickland announces pick for Jacksonville Jaguars at NFL Draft
Swerve Strickland appeared at the NFL Draft on Saturday.
Strickland announced the Jacksonville Jaguars’ pick in the fourth round of the draft in Pittsburgh. The Jaguars selected Wesley Williams, a defensive end from Duke, with the pick.
This year’s NFL Draft has featured several tie-ins with the wrestling world. Seth Rollins and Kyle Brandt staged an altercation on the set of Good Morning Football earlier this week in Pittsburgh. Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, who is from Pittsburgh, has also been in attendance at the draft.
Additionally, the nephew of Don Muraco, Ole Miss wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling, was selected by the San Francisco 49ers with the 33rd overall pick in the second round.
Strickland’s last AEW match was on the March 25 episode of Dynamite, where he lost to Kenny Omega.
