Tag Team title match, Hangman Page vs. PAC set for AEW Dynamite
After challenges that were issued following Full Gear, AEW has announced two matches for this week’s episode of Dynamite.
AEW World Champion Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara will challenge SCU (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) for the AEW Tag Team titles on Dynamite this Wednesday. Hangman Page and PAC will also face off in their third singles match against each other for AEW.
Jericho retained his AEW World title against Cody Rhodes at Full Gear. In his post-show media scrum, Jericho took exception to him and Guevara not being on AEW’s tag team rankings. Jericho said they’re undefeated as a team and will challenge for the Tag Team titles on Wednesday.
SCU retained the AEW Tag Team titles against The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) in a triple threat match at Full Gear. In an angle after the match, Christopher Daniels returned and saved Sky and Kazarian from The Lucha Bros.
Page defeated PAC at Full Gear, giving them each one singles win against each other in AEW. Page said after the show that he wanted to have a third match against PAC as soon as possible.
Tony Khan confirmed both matches for this week’s Dynamite during his media scrum after Full Gear. The episode is taking place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
