Thanksgiving Eve AEW Dynamite set for Chicago’s Wintrust Arena

AEW is headed back to Chicago this November.

It was announced today that the Thanksgiving Eve episode of Dynamite will take place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Wednesday, November 24. There will also be tapings for Rampage that night.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public at 11 a.m. Eastern time this Friday. There will also be a pre-sale starting at 11 a.m. Eastern on Thursday.

Holding the Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite in Chicago is something that AEW has planned to make an annual tradition. The Thanksgiving Eve 2019 edition of Dynamite took place at the NOW Arena (formerly known as the Sears Centre Arena) in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite was a taped show from Jacksonville, Florida.

AEW was at the NOW Arena for three shows earlier this month, including their All Out pay-per-view. The United Center in Chicago hosted CM Punk’s AEW debut on last month’s “The First Dance” episode of Rampage.

AEW’s Revolution PPV in February 2020 took place at the Wintrust Arena.

The Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite will be the second episode of the show to take place following this year’s Full Gear PPV. Full Gear is set for Saturday, November 13.
