Thunder Rosa hopes to secure dual contract with AEW and CMLL
After Claudio Castagnoli, Thunder Rosa is eager to sign a dual contract with AEW and CMLL.
When The Takedown on SI asked Rosa about signing a dual contract with AEW and CMLL like Castagnoli has done, she instantly responded that it would be an honor. And the opportunity would fulfill her dream of competing and training at Arena Mexico.
“Really you gonna ask me that question? Of course I’m interested in something like that,” Rosa exclaimed. “It’s a big deal, it is such a big deal and it’s such an honor when they recognize you to be somebody to be part of their organization. Absolutely, it would be an honor.”
“That’s like one thing that I always, when I started wrestling, I always wanted to do is wrestle in Arena Mexico, to be part of some of the trainings in Arena Mexico, which I will survive when I do them. I will survive them all (laughs). It’s like pushing myself to the limit and it’s like one of those things that I’m really enjoying the process because it’s like pushing yourself in a different way.”
Rosa made her CMLL debut at their cross-promotional event with AEW and ROH in 2025. On April 4, she will make her return at Arena Coliseo’s 83rd Anniversary Show, teaming up with Garra Negra & La Jarochita against Zeuxis, Keyra & Sanely.
