Tomohiro Ishii has finally returned to AEW Dynamite.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the episode of AEW Dynamite saw the return of Tomohiro Ishii during a backstage segment featuring The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong).

Briscoe opened up and shared that he was upset about not making it to Alabama for Collision, but he was there on the couch watching the show with his buddy, Ishii. The 50-year-old quietly stood behind Briscoe as the rest of the Conglomeration celebrated his return.

Ishii has been away from AEW TV since February 2026 and has been out of the ring since NJPW The New Beginning USA on February 27, 2026, when he suffered a neck injury. Ishii was previously scheduled to compete in the New Japan Cup, but had to miss the tournament due to his injury.

As of now, there are no confirmed updates regarding his in-ring return. Although Ishii is back on AEW television and reunited with The Conglomeration.
