Toni Storm vs. Red Velvet title eliminator added to AEW Dynamite
A Women’s World title eliminator match has been added to the February 7 AEW Dynamite lineup.
AEW revealed during Friday’s Rampage episode that Women’s Champion Toni Storm will face Red Velvet in a title eliminator match on Wednesday’s show, where Velvet will receive a future title shot if she wins.
Storm’s Revolution title challenger Deonna Purrazzo was also announced as a special guest commentator for the match.
Storm vs. Velvet joins a loaded Dynamite lineup that also includes a “big announcement” from Tony Khan, Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page with the winner receiving a World title shot at Revolution, Big Bill & Ricky Starks defending the AEW Tag Team titles against Sting & Darby Allin, Chris Jericho vs. Konosuke Takeshita, plus Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli vs. CMLL’s Mistico, Volador Jr. & Hechicero.
The Wednesday, February 7 Dynamite will be held in Phoenix, Arizona at the Footprint Center. The updated card:
