Tony Khan commented on the AEW statuses of several wrestlers on his roster recently.

During an appearance on Z100 on Tuesday, Khan was asked about former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, who is now coming up on one year since she last wrestled for the promotion. Khan responded that Baker is still with the company and that he’d love to see her return.

“She’s been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us and at some point, hopefully soon, I’d love to see Dr. Britt Baker come back,” Khan said.

Baker last wrestled for AEW on the November 13, 2024 episode of Dynamite. She defeated Penelope Ford on the show.

Later in the conversation, Khan was asked about rumors that Adam Copeland was returning to WWE to wrestle John Cena. The AEW president responded that Copeland will return to AEW when he’s done filming his current project.

“Adam is out filming right now,” Khan said. “I’m excited for him to be back in AEW, hopefully soon, after this project is done and he’s taken care of business.”

Khan was asked about Andrade’s status but said he couldn’t say much on the situation.

“I have a ton of respect for him and I can’t say much more, other than to say that I’m very excited to see what happens next with Andrade.”

Asked about Chris Jericho, Khan responded:

“We’re so grateful to Chris Jericho and Chris Jericho is somebody also that I would love to see back in AEW anytime. The door is always open to get Chris Jericho back in here and he’s been busy. He’s doing a lot of things.”
