Tony Khan announces new start time for AEW Redemption
AEW Redemption is starting a bit earlier.
Khan revealed on social media that AEW’s next pay-per-view will start at 7 pm Eastern, one hour earlier than usual. The one-hour Buy In pre-show will begin at 6 pm Eastern.
“Thank you all who watch AEW! For our upcoming @AEW Redemption ppv in Montreal on Sunday, July 26, I’ve moved the start time to one hour earlier than the tremendous recent AEW ppvs.#AEWRedemption Buy In @ 6e/3p Ppv @ 7e/4p! See you soon for Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TOMORROW!,” he wrote.
Top matches from Forbidden Door
The move comes just a couple of days after AEW’s last pay-per-view event, Forbidden Door. Top matches had Will Ospreay defeating Swerve Strickland and Mercedes Mone defeating Maya World to win this year’s Owen Hart Cup tournaments, earning themselves titles shots for All In at Wembley Stadium in August.
Another bout featured the first-ever Death’s Door circular cage match. Mark Briscoe scored the win, pinning Jake Doyle of MJF’s team. As a result, he has earned a title match that will take place on the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
