Tony Khan provides injury update on Jay White

An update on Jay White’s injury status.
On My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, Khan gave a sombering update on the former IWGP Champion, who has been sidelined for the last several months with a hand injury.
“Jay White is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and got injured along the way. He is out and unfortunately is going to be out for a long time,” Khan said.
White suffered the injury during a match against Kevin Knight in late March. He soon announced that as a result of the injury, wouldn’t be able to participate in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, where he was set to face Will Ospreay in the opening round.
Much of the Bang Bang Gang has been off television in recent months due to injuries, but at All In Juice Robinson returned from a broken leg, reuniting with the returning Gunn Club. Despite an injury to Colten Gunn that will keep him out of action, Robinson and Austin Gunn have been teaming in the weeks since, ultimately coming up short in a tournament to determine new number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team titles.
