Trios Championship match announced for AEW Rampage
The AEW World Trios Championship will be defended on this Friday’s Rampage.
Trios Champions The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn will defend their titles against The Hardys & Brother Zay in what was announced as an open challenge for Friday’s Rampage show.
A number one contender’s match to decide the next challenger for Saraya’s AEW Women’s World Championship is also set for Friday’s episode, as former title holder Hikaru Shida will face Ruby Soho. The winner will challenge for the Women’s World title on the special Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite on October 10.
Also announced for Friday’s show, Eddie Kingston will defend his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship against Rocky Romero.
Friday’s Rampage is being taped Wednesday evening in Broomfield, Colorado.
