Two matches added to AEW Double or Nothing

Two new matches have been announced for Double or Nothing later this month.

It was announced that MJF will face Jungle Boy in a singles match. The announcement came when Tony Schiavone interviewed MJF and Shawn Spears at ringside. After MJF mentioned that he would be in action next week on Dynamite, Schiavone made the match announcement. MJF was less than happy to hear the news.

MJF had not been on television for most of April. When he returned, he said he was recovering from a hangnail injury. The following week, he wore a neck brace, saying that he had cut himself while shaving. Jungle Boy hasn’t wrestled for AEW since March 18, when he and Luchasarus defeated The Butcher and The Blade on Dynamite.

Also announced for Double or Nothing is a casino ladder match, where the winner will get a future AEW World championship match. The announcers said that more information regarding this match would be announced next week.

Double or Nothing is scheduled to take place on May 23, though it is currently unknown where the show will be held.
