Two matches announced for AEW Rampage Slam Dunk
Two matches are set for the Friday, February 17 AEW Rampage Slam Dunk episode.
Dustin Rhodes will take on Swerve Strickland next week. The two have traded barbs in promos, culminating with Rhodes issuing a challenge to Strickland on this week’s Rampage show.
Also set for next week, Ricky Starks will face Daniel Garcia. Garcia defeated Starks in a gauntlet match on this week’s Dynamite after an assist from a masked Chris Jericho. Had Starks survived the gauntlet, he would have earned another singles match with Jericho. Starks previously defeated Jericho in their only career singles match on the January 4 Dynamite episode.
Next week’s Rampage Slam Dunk show has a special 7 p.m. start time due to TNT’s coverage of the NBA All-Star Game weekend festivities.
