Two title eliminators added to AEW Dynamite
AEW has announced several new segments for the Wednesday, May 7 Dynamite episode, including two title eliminator bouts.
Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will face three potential challengers in a four-way title eliminator bout, squaring off with Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay, and Penelope Ford.
Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will face Kevin Knight in another title eliminator bout newly added to Wednesday’s Dynamite episode. It will be Okada’s first singles match since the Revolution pay-per-view on March 9 when he defeated Brody King in a Continental title defense.
Two promo segments featuring the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament finalists have also been added to Wednesday’s lineup, as we will hear from both Will Ospreay and Hangman Adam Page.
Already announced for Wednesday are Ricochet and The Young Bucks vs. Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, and Mike Bailey in a trios match, World title number one contender Samoa Joe vs. Claudio Castagnoli, plus a sit-down interview segment with Renee Paquette and Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament finalist Jamie Hayter.
