Update on Harley Cameron AEW injury angle
Megan Bayne is not actually the reason why Harley Cameron had surgery recently.
On Saturday, Cameron posted an update to social media following recent nose surgery. In AEW storyline, the surgery was a result of being dropped face-first onto the steel steps by Bayne on the May 28 edition of Dynamite. However, Bryan Alvarez is reporting that the injury was a work to cover for a previously scheduled procedure.
“I was told the Harley injury in the match was a work to set up a scheduled surgery,” says Alvarez.
Initial reports stated that Cameron was injured at Double or Nothing three days earlier and the angle on the May 28 Dynamite was meant to write her off television. It was noted that the blood used in the match on Dynamite was fake.

There is no timeline for Cameron’s return to action. She posted an image of herself with a swollen and bandaged face on Saturday, along with the caption, “Well I can’t see much right now… but REVENGE is starting to look really good…”
