Update on future of AEW Tailgate brawl pre-shows

The second-ever AEW Tailgate Brawl is scheduled for Saturday, October 18.
A Warner Bros. Discovery press release on Wednesday revealed the schedule for AEW programming on MAX for October. The listing includes a special Tailgate Brawl show at 7 p.m. Eastern that night, one hour before AEW WrestleDream. The first Tailgate Brawl took place on Saturday ahead of AEW All Out in Toronto.
“October 18: AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl: WrestleDream, 7 p.m. WrestleDream PPV 2025, 8 p.m.”
Other notes from the press release include a three-hour block of programming on the Wednesday before WrestleDream, with an episode of Collision beginning at 10 p.m. after the conclusion of Dynamite. A “Countdown to WrestleDream” show will air that night at 11 p.m.
Additionally, 2021 editions of Dynamite and Rampage are scheduled to air on October 24, with the description reading, “Kenny Omega’s AEW Championship reign is in full gear, but Hangman Adam Page has an ace up his sleeve.”
