VIDEO: AEW roster thanks Tony Khan after Dynamite 200

Video —

AEW celebrated Tony Khan following the 200th episode of Dynamite on Wednesday.

After the show went off the air, Chris Jericho and Tony Khan walked to the ring. Jericho cut a promo praising Khan’s vision for AEW. Jericho spoke about the early days of Dynamite and the support they received from the fans before bringing out MJF.

The AEW World Champion said that before there was an AEW there was really only one place for wrestlers to work, WWE. He said that while WWE was interested in him, he knew if he went there he could be given a silly gimmick. MJF continued to say that AEW being an alternative has given opportunities for wrestlers to be the versions of themselves they want to be. The locker room then emptied out and wrestlers applauded while standing on the stage area. A graphic reading “Thank you, Tony Khan” appeared on the big screen.

Khan then thanked the fans before the segment concluded.
