Will Ospreay hits Pedigree on ‘Triple H’ at Pro Wrestling EVE Multiverse Rumble

Will Ospreay took a shot at Triple H during Pro Wrestling EVE’s event on Friday night.

Ospreay appeared as an unannounced entry into the Multiverse Rumble held on last night’s show at the Big Penny Social in Walthamstow, London. The rumble-style match often features wrestlers parodying or paying homage to some of wrestling’s most memorable moments and characters. The unique match rules were likely what allowed Ospreay to compete for the all-women’s promotion as well.

Anita Vaughan entered the match portraying Triple H, and evidently, Ospreay still has bitter feelings toward WWE’s Chief Content Officer. He flipped off Anita “Triple H” Vaughan before giving her a Pedigree. Ospreay was then eliminated by Rayne Leverkusen, who was portraying Shane McMahon.

Ospreay and Triple H were involved in a back-and-forth last year regarding Ospreay’s decision to sign with AEW over WWE. In April 2024, Triple H appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and implied that wrestlers choosing lighter schedules were “running from the grind.” Ospreay, who had cited work-life balance as a key factor in his decision to sign with AEW, took offense to the comment. On the April 10 episode of Dynamite, Ospreay cut a promo saying Triple H only got his position by “grinding on the boss’s daughter,” a reference to his marriage to Stephanie McMahon.
