Will Ospreay officially joins Death Riders on AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley | AEW

Will Ospreay has officially done the unthinkable at AEW Dynamite.

After the Death Riders ruled Ospreay out of action at the 2025 Forbidden Door PPV, they helped him win and secure the Owen Hart Foundation at this year’s Forbidden Door PPV.

Just days after the win, Ospreay let go of all past animosity to join forces with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. The July 1 episode of AEW Dynamite began with a backstage segment between Renee Paquette and Ospreay. After a conversation with Paquette, Ospreay met Moxley at his locker room door, following which the latter offered Ospreay a spot in his faction.

Later in the night, Ospreay and Moxley teamed to defeat The Twist (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson). During the match, a visual was shown of Ospreay wearing the faction’s patch on his pants. Shortly after, AEW announced on social media that Ospreay had now officially joined the Death Riders.

It is yet to be seen how AEW plans to continue this storyline with Ospreay and the Death Riders heading into Wembley Stadium for AEW All In.
