Women’s Owen Hart Cup match added to AEW Dynamite
Kris Statlander vs. Nyla Rose will kick off the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
AEW’s Tony Khan announced the new match for Wednesday’s episode in a social media post late Tuesday:
The Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament will also kick off on Wednesday, with a PAC vs. Claudio Castagnoli bout also announced Tuesday. Bryan Danielson will be on commentary for that contest.
The tournament brackets will also be revealed on Dynamite. This year’s men’s and women’s Owen Hart Cup winners will receive World title shots at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in August.
The updated lineup for this week’s Dynamite:
- MJF vs. Rush kicks off the show commercial-free
- AEW Tag Team title eliminator: The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) vs. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens)
- Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Dante Martin vs. Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, and Zack Sabre Jr.
- Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa Forbidden Door contract signing
- Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay face-to-face
- Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament quarterfinal: Claudio Castagnoli vs. PAC w/Bryan Danielson on commentary
