World title challenge issued for Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite
A brand new World title challenge has been issued for AEW Winter is Coming Dynamite.
In about two weeks, All Elite Wrestling will present its Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite on December 10th, 2025, at Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. While no matches have been announced for the show yet, Eddie Kingston recently issued a challenge to Samoa Joe for his World Championship.
Earlier tonight on Collision, Kingston defeated Katsuyori Shibata before calling Samoa Joe for a World Title match for next month’s Winter is Coming. In a passionate promo filled with multiple F-bombs, The Mad King addressed the fans and directly challenged The Samoan Submission Machine.
As of now, Joe has yet to officially respond to or accept Kingston’s challenge.
At Full Gear 2025, Samoa Joe defeated Adam Page in a brutal and bloody steel cage match to win the World Championship.
Next month, AEW is set to tour the United Kingdom, beginning with Collision Winter is Coming in Cardiff, Wales, on December 13th, 2025, and followed by Holiday Bash on December 17th, 2025, in Manchester.
Eddie Kingston reveals how Tony Khan helped him with surgery
Sidelined with injury for over a year, Eddie Kingston returned earlier this year at All Out after recovering from his injury and surgery. Speaking on Cezar Bononi’s YouTube channel, Kingston once opened up about how Tony Khan helped him with his surgery.
“When I had hernia surgery three years ago, my insurance at the time said that they would cover it. The day of the surgery, they said they couldn’t cover it. So thank god other people took care of that one. I’m still paying for the anesthesia though,” Kingston noted.
“And then it happened again, same insurance, with the knee surgery. The day of the knee surgery, they said, ‘Oh no, we’re not covering.’ And the surgeon kind of knew that was going to happen because he’s seen this before with this kind of insurance. And he was like, ‘Let me make a couple of calls.’ And then, of course, you know, Tony took care of it. I’ll say it, thank god.”
