Wrestler returning to AEW after visa issues settled

Komander

Komander is good to go.

Both Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer are confirming that Komander’s visa issues have been settled, and will be wrestling tonight for AEW’s Brawl at the Ballpark event in Minneapolis following Friday’s Minnesota Twins game.

“Komander’s visa situation is settled and he’s back at the AEW show tonight at the Minnesota Twins game,” Meltzer wrote. “He’s now available going forward. He killed it in Mexico a few weeks back.”

Komander will be in a six-person tag team match where he’ll team with Top Flight to take on The Opps and Action Andretti.

Gone from AEW since March

Since March, both Komander and The Beast Mortos have been unable to enter the United States due to visa issues. Both have instead been working in CMLL, which has a strong relationship with AEW. Komander’s most recent match there ended in a victory, with him and Esfinge defeating Mortos and Volador Jr.

The visa issues brought into question the status of the ROH Tag Team titles. Mortos and Guevara instead defended the titles in CMLL, recently losing them to Mistico and Mascara Dorada.
