Young Bucks to face Private Party on week two of AEW TV

The first matchup is set for AEW’s Tag Team title tournament.

After their match at House of Glory’s High Intensity 8 last night, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) announced that they’ll be facing Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) on week two of AEW television. It will be a first round match in AEW’s Tag Team title tournament.

Episode two of AEW TV is taking place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, October 9.

In what was billed as likely being The Young Bucks’ final independent wrestling match, they defeated Private Party at High Intensity 8. Matt Jackson gave a post-match speech and asked the fans if they wanted to see The Young Bucks vs. Private Party on national TV. Matt said they’ll open the show on October 9.

Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor) will face The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) at All Out on August 31, with the winning team getting a first round bye in the Tag Team title tournament. AEW has yet to reveal how many teams will be in the tournament or when the inaugural champions will be crowned.
