The Young Bucks tease return of AEW star in new BTE video
The Young Bucks have released their second Being the Elite video in recent days.
The 47-second video published on Monday shows Matt and Nick Jackson in their hotel room surrounded by empty Pepsi bottles and pizza boxes watching footage of the Lights Out Steel Cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Matt’s phone rings and when he picks it up the caller ID shows the name Jack Perry. Matt didn’t take the call.

The X account WrestleVotes reported in July that Perry had been backstage at AEW events, while Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted in a recent Q&A that there have been discussions about Perry’s return.
Perry, 28, hasn’t wrestled since Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome on January 5, where he unsuccessfully challenged Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. He last wrestled for AEW at Full Gear 2024 on November 23, losing the TNT Championship to Daniel Garcia.
