Bully Ray makes big Hardys claim ahead of Tables match at TNA Bound for Glory

TNA Bound for Glory Table Match

Bully Ray, D-Von and The Hardys all recently appeared on the Talk is Jericho podcast to promote their upcoming tables match at TNA Bound for Glory. The four men discussed their enduring history in the business, including their matches in the early 2000s in the-then WWF.

During the interview, Bully Ray would make a big claim about Matt and Jeff Hardy, explaining how them making a return to TNA put the company in the position they are now. TNA is selling well in multiple markets, and with their ongoing relationship with NXT they have another calling card to help get those butts in the seats.

Bully Ray on Matt and Jeff Hardy

“When Matt and Jeff came back there [TNA] they gave credibility back to the company. I think it was the autograph sessions” Bully would begin.” “Fans seeing that Matt and Jeff were willing to stick around until two or three in the morning, and meet with every fan and talk to every fan and sign every autograph and take every picture.”

“That personal crowd interaction, that word of mouth traveled like wildfire, and that’s why people wanted to go to the shows. They wanted to see Matt and Jeff wrestle. They wanted to go to the post-show autograph sessions. They wanted to be a part of those special moments” the former WWE Superstar added.

Bully would then make a big claim about his Bound for Glory opponents after, saying “if Matt and Jeff do not go back to TNA, TNA is not in the position that they are right now. That is not an opinion. That is a fact. You go back and you watch TNA television, you look at the house shows., you look at the numbers. [These two] are the guys responsible for putting the asses in the seats.”

TNA Bound for Glory 2025 takes place tomorrow night and is available as part of TNA+ and on PPV via TrillerTV.
