WWE
- WWE is advertising Hoosiers Legacy title belts following the University of Indiana’s win on Monday.
- VGA, an interactive enterainment company in Australia has announced a multi-year partnership with WWE.
- Recent WWE Vault additions include Test’s first entrance video, a compilation of every entrant in the 2000 Royal Rumble, Kurt Angle vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from the January 8, 2001 episode of Raw, a compilation of ‘must-see matches’ under five minutes, and Goldberg vs. Scott Steiner vs. Test from the January 19, 2004 episode of Raw.
- Over on WWE’s WCW channel, they have added Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair & The Giant from Clash of the Champions XXXII, the May 31, 1999 edition of WCW Nitro featuring Sting vs. Rick Steiner, and Clash of the Champions 18 featuring Steve Austin & Rick Rude vs. Sting & Ricky Steamboat.
AEW & Other Wrestling
- Netflix has changed their bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, amending it to an all-cash transaction.
- While promoting a match against Danhausen for February 20 in Michigan, Jake Doyle wrote on social media that he has two more shows left as Jake Something.
- Maple Leaf Pro announced that they have signed a broadcast partnership with Fight Nation. Starting in February, their events will be broadcast on the channel.
- Flip Gordon returns to action this Friday for CMLL.
- 2 Cold Scorpio’s trial for first degree assault and armed criminal action is slated to start on January 26.
- PWInsider is reporting that the former Muhammad Hassan, Mark Copani, is writing a book that is slated for release in October.
- GCW announced that El Phantasmo will be making his debut in February.
- Jonathan Gresham will face Adam Priest in the first round of the Jersey J-Cup.
- TNA has revealed on-sale pre-sale plans for upcoming events in Nashville, Atlanta, and New Orleans. General sale starts this coming Monday, January 26.
