Former TNA wrestler Gisele Shaw has opened up about her contract situation.

Recently speaking to Fightful in an interview, Shaw addressed her status as a “free agent” and her current focus on having great matches.

I am still a free agent, and I’m just doing my thing right now. I feel like when you think about, ‘I want to sign, I want to sign, I want to sign,’ it almost runs away from you. But if I’m just like, ‘I’m gonna live my best life, I’m just gonna perform and wrestle the best that I can, I’m gonna have banger matches,’ and that’s all I focus about, then they know where to reach me,” Shaw said. “So if they’re interested in signing me, they know how to get ahold of me. But all my focus is, right now, is just banger after banger matches and that’s it.”

Shaw, 36, joined TNA Wrestling in 2018 and remained a part of the promotion until late 2024. Her last TNA match dates back to a loss against Heather by Elegance. During her six-year run at TNA Wrestling, Shaw was involved in several rivalries, including an iconic one against Jordynne Grace.

What is former TNA wrestler Gisele Shaw doing now?

While officially a free agent, Shaw actively wrestles on the independent circuit, mostly for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP). She is the reigning and inaugural MLP Canadian Women’s Champion, as well as the current NWA World Women’s Television Champion. In addition to these, Shaw is also the Destiny Women’s Champion.

Since leaving TNA in 2024, Shaw has wrestled for PROGRESS, ROH, MLP, NWA, and even CMLL.
