Callihan Slammiversary decision, Kojima vs. Rhino set for Impact

The future of Sami Callihan as relates to July’s Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view will be decided this Thursday on Impact.

Callihan was fired in storyline at last Saturday’s Against All Odds after attacking World Champion Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks following Omega’s title defense over Moose. Don Callis, still a VP in storyline, came out and fired Callihan who was to receive a title shot at Slammiversary.

In a preview clip, Scott D’Amore and Callis have a confrontation regarding the firing. Callis is no longer a VP in real life so this looks to be leading to an angle to write him off out of the role on TV.

The clip also showed the aforementioned Moose and Chris Sabin getting into a physical confrontation.

Impact also announced that Satoshi Kojima will face Violent by Design’s Rhino with a future Tag Team title shot on the line for Kojima and Eddie Edwards if Kojima can pull off a victory.
