Four-way number one contender’s match set for Impact Emergence

Impact Wrestling will set up their next World title challenger at this Friday’s Emergence special on Impact Plus with a four-way featuring former champion Sami Callihan, Chris Sabin, former X-Division Champion Ace Austin and former title challenger Moose.

The winner will face the winner of the World title match between new champion Christian Cage and Brian Myers at Emergence. Cage defeated Kenny Omega for the title at Friday’s AEW Rampage while Myers won a battle royal last Thursday to earn the shot.

Here’s the current Emergence card that will be recorded during Impact’s three-day taping run that starts today in Nashville, TN:

  • Impact World Champion Christian Cage vs. Brian Myers title match
  • Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs. Violent By Design vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack three-way title match
  • X-Division Champion Josh Alexander vs. Jake Something title match
  • No. 1 contender’s four-way: Sami Callihan vs. Moose vs. Chris Sabin vs. Ace Austin
  • Steve Cutler vs. Petey Williams
