Izzi Dame answers Jordynne Grace’s TNA Impact open challenge
Izzi Dame became the latest NXT wrestler to appear in TNA on Thursday’s Impact episode.
Dame answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge for a Knockouts World Championship match on Thursday’s TNA Impact, appearing as a surprise opponent in a losing effort.
Grace pinned Dame after hitting the Juggernaut Driver in a match that served to further the angle between Grace and Ash by Elegance, as Ash will challenge Grace for the Knockouts title at Slammiversary on July 20.
Ash was shown watching the Grace vs. Dame bout “via satellite” throughout.
Dame was one of several NXT wrestlers to appear on Thursday’s episode, which also included No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne & Tavion Heights. The NQCC will face The Rascalz & a mystery partner on next week’s Impact.
TNA star Joe Hendry was a surprise tag team partner for Trick Williams on this week’s WWE NXT show, as the talent trading relationship between the two promotions continues.
