Mike Santana vs. Mustafa Ali rematch set for next week’s TNA Impact

A rematch is set for next Thursday’s Impact.

Friday’s Sacrifice event saw Mike Santana gain the upper hand in his match against Mustafa Ali when members of Ali’s cabinet (Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Tasha Steelz) came in to interfere. The finish had Steelz hop on the apron, distracting Santana long enough for Ali to roll him up, using the ropes to score the tainted win. After the match, a smug Ali grabbed a beer from a fan in the crowd and put it inside the ring near Santana, a recovering alcoholic.

Later backstage, Santana confronted TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella about the loss. Marella then announced that Santana would get his rematch on Impact this Thursday, and all members of Ali’s cabinet were banned from ringside.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. was also announced as appearing on the show. TNA is set to hold their next television tapings on March 15 in Guerrero’s hometown of El Paso, Texas.
