Moose vs. Sami Callihan set for Impact Wrestling

The complicated and temporary alliance between Moose and Sami Callihan will come to a head this Thursday on Impact Wrestling as the no. 1 contender will face off against the former World Champion.

Two weeks ago, Callihan came out to back up Moose as he was about to be attacked by Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers. Last week, Moose came out to Callihan’s aid to help him against the Good Brothers, later teaming up on the show against Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. Both were clear they were helping the other because of their mutual hatred for Omega, Gallows and Anderson.

However, the two couldn’t get on the same page during the bout and lost. Afterward, Moose hit Callihan with a Lights Out and left him laying in the ring.

Moose will face Omega for the Impact World title at June’s Against All Odds while Callihan doesn’t have a match yet.

The rest of Thursday’s card:

  • X-Division Champion Josh Alexander vs. TJP in a 60-minute Iron Man title match
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire N’ Flava vs. Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering title match
  • Satoshi Kojima vs. Deaner
  • Jake Something vs. Rohit Raju in a tables match
