Report: Update on The Rascalz, Dezmond Xavier TNA contract status

  • Ian Carey

The Rascalz are back together in TNA, but could be hitting the free agent market soon.

Dezmond Xavier (formerly Wes Lee in WWE NXT) returned to TNA at Turning Point on Friday night and teamed with Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel in a win over The System.

Fightful Select is reporting that despite his return, Xavier is not under contract to TNA, although there are creative plans in place for him moving forward. Wentz’s TNA contract is believed to expire on January 1. The contract statuses of Reed and Miguel are unclear at the moment.

The Rascalz are reportedly expected to receive interest from outside of TNA in contract negotiations.

Xavier was arguably the most surprising WWE roster cut made in October. He had been with the company since late 2020 and is a former North American Champion and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion along with Wentz (Nash Carter at the time).
