Title change takes place at Impact Wrestling TV taping

The following is a spoiler for an upcoming Impact Wrestling on AXS TV episode.

Despite the company taking a hiatus, the various Ring of Honor titles continue to both get defended and change hands as Deonna Purrazzo defeated Rok-C for the Women’s title on Sunday’s Impact Wrestling TV taping in Dallas, Texas.

Purrazzo was putting up her AAA Reina de Reinas title against Rok-C’s ROH title in a winner take all match, set up at December’s ROH Final Battle when Purrazzo made the surprise challenge.

The match is scheduled to air this Thursday on Impact.

Rok-C won the inaugural version of the title at September’s Death Before Dishonor by defeating Miranda Alize in a tournament final.

This is Purrazzo’s first run with the ROH title. Purrazzo was unsuccessful in her effort to beat Knockouts Champion Mickie James and regain that title at Saturday’s Hard to Kill, losing in a Texas Death Match.
