TJP vs. Josh Alexander X-Division title match set for Impact Wrestling

Just days after earning an X-Division title match at No Surrender, Josh Alexander will get his opportunity this Tuesday on Impact when he challenges the champion, TJP.

At the Impact Plus show Saturday, TJP successfully defended the title with a win over former champion and rival Rohit Raju while Alexander won the first-ever triple threat revolver match, pinning Ace Austin to get the shot. TJP (as Manik) won the belt from Raju at December’s Final Resolution and will be looking for his third defense of the title.

Tuesday’s show will also feature an appearance from New Japan roster members Juice Robinson and David Finlay, announced as a surprise at the end of Saturday’s show.

No other matches or appearances have been announced as of yet, but it’s expected that a program between Impact World Champion Rich Swann and no. 1 contender Moose will begin move forward. Additionally, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo may be in the sights of Jazz following Jazz’s victory in a six woman tag match Saturday.
